Effective skills assessment

Effective skills assessment

For whom?

Private and public sector employees, self-employed workers.

What you will master

Ideal for professionals who already have an idea of the professional and/or training field to choose but who wish to strengthen their choice through: work on their skills, their potential and their motivation as well as concrete information on the world of work or training.

The purpose of the assessment summary is to provide the beneficiary with a comprehensive report on their experience with the advisor and to develop a professional or training project consistent with their values, needs and expectations. The skills assessment summary must therefore present the following elements:

  • Circumstances of the skills assessment
  • Stages of the assessment process
  • Professional project
  • Title of the job or training sought
  • Evaluations and recommendations
  • Professional interests and motivation
  • Skills acquired (knowledge, know-how, interpersonal skills)
  • Skills to develop
  • Personal implications related to the project
  • Areas for progress and obstacles in the main project
  • Action plan to achieve the desired professional or training objective

For each support, the beneficiary has hours of personal work to complete throughout the duration of the assessment:
– genogram
– questionnaire regarding the beneficiary’s personal satisfaction and job satisfaction
– questionnaire relating to the beneficiary’s professional priorities
– questionnaire concerning his needs and motivations
– questionnaire relating to his strengths and weaknesses
– vocation test
– contacting training organizations and/or companies etc.

Each exercise is personalized and can vary depending on the beneficiary and the variables to be explored during the analysis phase.

  • The tools used by the trainer are: questionnaires, tests, interviews, open questions. These tools are adapted according to the beneficiary's profile.
  • In the case of personality, interest and motivation tests (Profile 2, Vocation and Motivation), the questions are designed by the company Central Test*. The beneficiary's results are transformed into data by the same company and communicated to the beneficiary by an approved Cyber Place trainer.
  • The tests are administered online on the Central Test platform. The certified trainer will email the link to the participants.
  • Before the start of a test, beneficiaries will have all the information necessary to carry out the test in the best possible conditions.
